5 Reasons Your Brand Should Have a Blog
Just like Muffy said, people are all about blogging nowadays. Blogs are for everyone; blogs can be written for businesses and organizations, news outlets, personal blogging, and many more. Here are 5 reasons your brand should have a blog:
1. Industry Relevance
To pose your brand as relevant and current with the times, blogs can be written. Blogging about trendy topics or updates in the affiliated industry makes your brand look fresher than ever.
2. SEO
An established blog enhances SEO (search engine optimization). Search engines naturally prioritize up to date content first, so by regularly posting in your blog, your website becomes easier for searchers to find.
3. Share Information to Gain Information
Blogging grants your brand the opportunity to lend insight, and it also grants the opportunity for readers to leave comments. After sorting through the nonsensical trolls, the comments left hold invaluable information on why readers are coming to your blog, what they're looking for, what they couldn't find, etc. This can be used to shape future blog writing, and extends to shaping brand development.
4. Content Creation
Coming up with ideas for content can be difficult at times, but for most, blog writing is an easy solution. Blogs give copious amounts of creative freedom and are fun to write. What makes them great for content is the shareability value they possess. Blog links can be shared on all social platforms and can be shared multiple times; recyclable content makes everyone happy.
5. Trust and Credibility
Perhaps the most obvious advantage of blogging is the industry credibility that comes with a well maintained blog. By blogging about issues, topics, or products that pertain to your brand or organization, visibility in the associated industry is gained. Your brand is thought of as a thought leader.
So if you still don’t have a blog, after reading this blog about blogging, your mind must be boggled... Or maybe “Bloggled” for this situation!
